Care That Speaks Your Language
Coming from a Sri Lankan background, we understand the cultural nuances others don't and bring you care that feels like home.

THE PROBLEM
Frustrated With Your Current Provider ?
For many South Asian families, aged care can feel like a foreign system. Different language, different food, different way of showing respect to elders — and support workers who don't understand any of it.
On top of that, there's often a quiet stigma around needing help in old age, so many families try to manage alone instead of asking for support.
THE DONDRA DIFFERENCE
Dondra Care feels different from the start. Our support workers speak your language and understand your customs, so there's nothing to explain and nothing lost in translation. Just care that feels like home.
FAQ
Call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 and ask for an assessment. Once you're approved, simply choose Dondra Care as your provider and we'll take it from there.
Even if you don't have Support at Home funding, or while waiting for SAH funding to be granted, private care can be immediately organised.
Once your assessment is complete and your funding is approved, we'll work with you to set up your care plan and begin services as soon as possible. We know waiting can be stressful, so we'll keep you informed every step of the way.
Yes. We take the time to understand your needs and preferences, including language and cultural background, so you feel comfortable and safe with the person supporting you.
That's completely normal. Your care plan isn't fixed — we'll check in with you regularly and adjust your support as your needs change, so you always have the right level of care.
